ChoiceCare Basic

ChoiceCare Basic is one of three (3) Essential (MEC Plus!) programs offered on apogeehealthdirect.net. While it features many co-pay only benefits, they are not unlimited as they are in ChoiceCare premium. Also, ChoiceCare Basic has more benefits that are discount based than either ChoiceCare Premium or AdvantageCare, however, remember to use CMBS to increase your discounts for all services. It is upgradeable with a Zion HealthShare membership. Like all the Essential (MEC Plus!) programs, it is intended to provide you with immediate, no deductible access to outpatient medical services such as doctor and specialist office visits, urgent care, telemedicine, prescriptions, dental, vision and dental and other benefits. Other than network discounts and consumer advocate negotiated payment plans, it does not provide any inpatient, catastrophic coverage. There are no preexisting restrictions for any of the services covered by ChoiceCare Basic. You can choose any provider in the First Health nationwide network.
